I liked the ending of POTC 3! A lot of people don't but I do. How could it have ended different? If Jack ended up with Elizabeth. I don't think so. He likes a majority of women. Even though Will can only see Elizabeth once every ten years... at least he sees her.

The ending wasn't sad once I realized the point of it. Actually, Will only had to serve on the Dutchman for 10 years. Not more. So at the end, after the credits, it shows him coming back to spend the rest of his life with Lizzy and their son.
Knightly's jaw is too manly.

Yeah I watched it. But I though he had to serve the dutchmen longer than that.

I thought the ending of the movie was great! But the post credits scene... I think they could have left out the child, it gave me a feeling of "Hey, we're Disney! We have to have a kid in it!". I'm not bashing Disney, it's just they do have a tradition of the main couple having a kid. And it just seemed a bit cliche.
